چکیده

Heavy metal-contaminated soil is one of the major environmental pollution problems agricultural production and human health in world. Remediation heavy metals most popular research subjects. Different remediation strategies have been reported to remove from contaminated soil, among which phytoremediation important one. Compared with other crops, cotton shows strongest widespread resistance abiotic stresses, such as metals. Although metal stress adversely affects growth development cotton, possesses a set sophisticated stress-resistance strategies. As main product nonedible fibers, large biomass strong absorption enrichment capacities, an ideal crop restore soils has unique advantages terms both ecological economic benefits, great application prospects. In this review, based on domestic foreign results recent years, effects quality were analyzed, absorption, accumulation, translocation characteristics plants summarized, adaptation tolerance mechanisms explored. Furthermore, view that effective remediate farmland proposed, popularization suggestions for planting repair put forward provide reference comprehensive evaluation feasibility soil.

Using poly-glutamic acid as soil-washing agent to remediate heavy metal-contaminated soils.

The extraction efficiency of heavy metals from soils using three forms of gamma poly-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) as the washing agents was investigated. Controlling factors including agent concentrations, extraction time, pH, and liquid to soil ratio were evaluated to determine the optimum operational conditions. The distribution of heavy metal species in soils before and after extraction processes w...

Removal of Heavy Metal from Contaminated Soil with Chelating Agents

Removal of copper and nickel by the addition of the biodegradable chelating agent, chitosan and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), was investigated, alongside the reaction of a reference compound sodium citrate for comparison. The artificial-contaminated soils were used in this study. The experiments showed that the extraction ability for copper and nickel from the contaminated soil decre...

Reducing Agents Enhanced Electrokinetic Soil Remediation (EKSR) for Heavy Metal Contaminated Soil

Reducing agents-Enhanced electrokinetic Soil Remediation (EKSR) was performed for the removal of chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co) and nickel (Ni) from contaminated soil. The reducing agents oxalic acid and ascorbic acid were investigated under constant voltage gradient (2.0 V/cm), current changes, pH, redox potential, concentration changes and removal performance of Heavy Metals (HMs). The result...

Remediation of soil contaminated with the heavy metal (Cd2+).

Soil contamination by heavy metals is increasing. The biosorption process for removal of the heavy metal Cd(2+) from contaminated soil is chosen for this study due to its economy, commercial applications, and because it acts without destroying soil structure. The study is divided into four parts (1) soil leaching: the relationships between the soil leaching effect and agitation rates, solvent c...
